NEXUS – WYTN’s very own Arts, Music and Performance Festival
Our first NEXUS Festival has been and gone! In six weeks we managed to platform over 70 acts and more than 150 local artists. Over the next year we’ll be preparing for year two which means we’re on the hunt for the regions best emerging talent so we can shine a light on them. N E X U S was born of N Lab: an Arts Council funded pioneering project designed to champion and encourage interdisciplinary collaboration.
Starting in June 2014 our 7 chosen artists worked together to develop a new piece of work that draws upon the group’s skills and talents whilst benefiting from professional training and expert mentoring.
The final piece was revealed in Sept 2014 at NEXUS
